Dr Shivputra Ghanti, completed MBBS from the prestigious M R medical college, Kalaburagi and later MD in internal medicine from NMC, Raichur. During his post graduation he gained tremendous knowledge in managing various aspects of critical care, HTN, diabetes and infectious diseases. Apart from his clinical skills he was active in academics, as well and presented numerous papers and posters at various state and national level conferences. Some of the interesting presentation includes that on the “Prevalence of fatty liver in Type 2 diabetes and its relationship with insulin resistance”, at KAPICON 2016 and “Rare case of bilateral tubercular pleural effusion”, at APICON 2015. He is currently pursuing fellowship training in rheumatology and immunology, under the guidance of Dr. Chandrashekara S, and works on unravelling the role of Epstein barr virus and CMV in the etiology of autoimmune disease and the assessment of ankylosing spondylitis with ASAS, in axial disease DAS in peripheral arthritis patients and its relationship with NLR as an inflammatory marker ASA.
